Our house is a lovely place. It is our family home, the children have grown here into young adults and the dog has lived its life from pup to darling old 14 year old. When the children left the family home, the dynamic of the house changed. We wanted to live differently than the house allowed….. What to do?
Together, Tom and I did not find a suitable solution. Something had to change but what and how? At that very moment Eline came into our lives with her Feng Shui. Sometime before I had experienced the dynamic elements from the Chinese philosophies as very healing. So I asked her to analyze our house and suggest some changes.
These suggestions came in the shape of a good conversation and a wonderful report. Bound into a booklet that guides us in the process. Some areas appeared to be already in line with the energy of Feng Shui and those places were exactly the ones where we felt good in our house. The rooms that did not feel so good appeared to have some energetic issues between function, decoration, color scheme and positioning of the furniture. Eline’s suggestions varied from changing the lay-out of a room to introduce new colors or change the overall functional use of a room. The samples of fabric and paint she brought along already showed the wonders color change can bring.
To apply all the changes in different phases has become a long term project. It implies in our house a little more than just some adjustments according to the philosophy of Feng Shui. However we experience a sturdy base on which we can lean to transform our home for the new era of our lives.
Smulders family.
We met Eline at the VT Woonbeurs. There she made a first sketch of our new living room. Her enthusiasm and positive energy were enormously contagious. It was immediately clear to us; we want to make our house at home with her. Her energy was also striking throughout the entire process; sparkling, warm and positive. She really looked at us through conversations and Feng shui, which enabled us to make the right choices. The photos speak for themselves!
Eline thank you so much! Math and Marieke
